Exceptional and rare is the pattern of the beautiful fish slice and fork. The head of a lion lies on the top of the shaft with its fangs in releif on the front. The scrolling and shellwork are very sharp. Together the pieces weigh 10 ozs. troy, the slice is 12" long and the fork is 9". The obverse of both pieces is stamped with the Gorham hallmark and dated 1898 (see photo). Beautiful George III sterling cruet set, hallmarked 1774, with its original 6 glass bottles by Thomas Dealtry. The boat shaped cruet has acanthus leaf handles, beaded border, and leaf motif feet. It is 8 1/2" wide and 3 1/2" tall. It weighs 14 ozs. Troy. The cruet has a part of one of the rings missing. The bottles tops are partially ground, and one of the stoppers has been replaced.
