Hand carved Black Forest "felt" hat with plume novelty inkwell. The hinged lid opens to reveal a glass inkwell. It is a souvenir of the Rigi Kulm Hotel, near Lucerne Switzerland which is in the Swiss Alps it is 4,900 feet above sea level; the hotel is over 200 years old. C. 1875. 5" x 4 1/2" X 2 1/4".

Felt lined button box. Souvenir of Jacobs Ladder railway, Aberystwyth, Wales.The railway was built in 1902 to serve the lead mines, timber and passenger traffic of the Rheidol Valley. In deference to the hostile terrain, the railway was built on narrower track guage (1' 11 3/4").The box measures 3 3/4" wide 2 1/2" deep, and 2" tall. Condition is very good.

A most unusual shaped sewing bucket with pin cushion top. Souvenir of Dunkeld, Scotland. "From the Athole Plantation, Dunkeld. Cam ye by Athole,Down by the Tumme, or banks o' the Garry. Saw ye the lads wi' their bonnets, an white cockades. Leaving their mountains to follow Prince Charlie." On the bottom it states, "Anderson Bookseller, Dunkeld". 2 1/4" by 2 1/2". Condition is very good.

Mauchline sewing box by Clark & Co. A souvenir of Scotland. The top has a pictograph of Stirling Castle with "Use Clark & Co's extra quality. It is the best for hand and machine sewing. Note our trademark an "anchor" on the bottom label" around the edge. The inside of the top has the Clark & Co trademark. Around the outside are the pictographs of Kelso Abbey, Abbotsford and Dryburgh Abbey. It measures 4" wide by 2" tall. excellent condition.

Round pin box "Warranted wood grown on Abbey Craig, the site of Wallace Monument." On the top is a pictograph of Stirling Castle; on the sides are "Martyrs' Monument," and "Wallace Monument," Abbey Craig." It measures 4" in diameter and 3.5" tall. (The Scottish patriot Wallace was played by Mel Gibson in the movie "Braveheart.")
