Delicate Haviland Limoges Meat Platter. Handpainted, 19th century. Made for Neeley & Malley Co., New Haven, CT. The Malley Co. was a prestigious New Haven Department store that opened as the Edw. Malley Co. in the 1870's and closed in the 1970's. Neeley & Malley most likely preceeded the Edw. Malley Co. This beautiful piece of Limoges is also a piece of Connecticut history. The meat platter measures 18 x 13 1/2". Condition is excellent.
